Arrowhead Camp
Frequently Asked Questions
How long has Arrowhead Camp been around?
Campers have been enjoying their summers at camp since 1972. Over the years the size and diversity of the program and facilities has grown and developed. For more info, please go to our history page.

What is your Camper to Staff ratio?

For every 3 campers at camp we have 1 staff member. This ratio does not include our kitchen staff. During Junior Camp we provide a 2:1 ratio.

What is the closest town?
Arrowhead Camp is located just 5 minutes from the town of Dwight and 15 minutes from Huntsville.

Do campers need to sign up for their daily activities?
Short answer is no. All of our campers get to experience all of the activities that we have to offer. Campers travel in activity groups that are age specific and co-ed.

Can Camp accommodate food allergies?
Our professional kitchen staff can prepare and accommodate most food allergies. We request that this information is provided on the campers health form and sent to camp prior to their arrival at camp. Our kitchen is 'nut free' and all of our staff are trained to be aware of common food allergies.

Is there a Camp Nurse or Doctor?
Arrowhead Camp has been fortunate to have a long time nurse on site who has provide excellent healthcare and support for the camp. Since we are so close to Huntsville, if there is need to see a doctor we take the camper into the local drop in centre.

Does camp have a sky diving program?
Ummm... no.
